Opera Voice

Levels Taught:
Beginner, Intermediate

I am a NYC based Opera/Broadway singer and private voice studio teacher. I have been singing and performing professionally for 15+ years. I have enjoyed teaching beginner to intermediate level students in the styles of: Broadway, classical/opera and pop.

******Lesson Details***********
My curriculum focuses on the development of proper breath control, vocal placement and bodily awareness/alignment. I have background in Alexander Technique and yoga and like to use these modes of awareness to help students understand their body as their entire instrument.

*******My Teaching Philosophy***********
It is a partnership between the teacher and the student. I engage my students in learning in a fun and positive environment and work to build a strong vocal technique with my students without changing each individuals unique sound. I assess my students weaknesses and strengths and work to build a technique that will help them reach their individual goals.

******Teacher Expectations***************
I am looking to provide you with the best experience to help you reach your goals effectively and smoothly. Practice and preparation for lessons will encourage consistency and more efficient mastery of your instrument!

Thank You for taking the time to review my profile! I look forward to working with you!

Teaching since:
2017

I am an Opera and Broadway singer currently working in New York. I went to Stetson University specifically for Voice Performance- which includes study in vocal pedagogy, language: (Italian, French and German diction), body alignment and role preparation.

I love sharing my passion with my students and look to provide them with a positive and inviting atmosphere to help build their artistry! Students can expect to progress week by week while I help them build a stronger knowledge of their instrument (voice and body) so they can work towards their personal/ professional goals! I specialize in beginner and intermediate voice and help my students explore new repertoire and prepare for auditions or talent shows.

I welcome students, ages 8 years and up, in the genres of Broadway, pop and classical/opera . I'm excited to learn your passions and goals so we can work together to meet them!

I really learned so much from my lessons with Constance. She’s an incredibly knowledgeable and intuitive teacher. My singing has gotten so much freer and stronger with her help. If you want to improve your singing on any level, teach with Constance.
