- Rudiments and ways to apply them on the drumset
- Developing and using dynamics to achieve control and create new sonic textures on the drumset
- Limb independence, which will allow you to speak freely on the drumset
- How to read and write musical ideas
- Drumset fills/ concepts of fills and phrasing and how to get the most out of any fills that you learn throughout your drumming career
- Various styles including rock, funk, jazz and latin

I am very passionate about my instrument, the drums. If you are interested to learn, I am willing to teach. Music is a language. Learn to speak it your way with me.

I've been taking drum lessons with Collin for a few months and my drumming has improved a lot, much faster than I expected.  Every week he gives me new stuff to work on, keeping in mind my personal goals for drumming and what I want to get out of it.  He's really nice and patient; I'm an adult but he seems like he would be a good teacher for any age person who wants to improve their drumming.
