Hello, my name is Clay. I am a bassist and guitarist with over 25 years experience. I am currently the bassist for a signed, touring rock band. When I'm not on stage, I like to teach my craft and hopefully inspire others. My goal as an instructor is to create a comfortable environment where students can express themselves and deepen their understanding of the instrument they play. All while ensuring that learning is exciting and FUN! My teaching style involves discovering what interests and inspires my students and creating a unique curriculum for them, so learning is tailored to their specific needs in an exciting manner. I am comfortable with beginner to advanced players. So, whether the student is brand new to the bass and needs to know where to put their thumb on the back of the neck, or they have years of experience and need someone to show them how to do slap/tap arpeggios and artificial harmonics, I am more than happy to help.
