Upright Bass with Clay P.

I received a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance with Jazz Emphasis from Washington State University. During my time at WSU I studied under Dr. Greg Yasinitsky (Pulitzer Prize nominee), Dave Snider, Dr. Ruth Boden, Brian Ward and Brad Ard, among others. I have played with a number of projects, both as a sideman and as a band leader. Most notably Cierra Mickens (The Voice), Jeff Coffin (Bela Fleck, Dave Matthews Band), Kansas, and my group Bad Panda, which was recently nominated for Best Jazz Artist in Portland by Willamette Week.
