    About Claudia S.

Hello, my name is Claudia Sellers and I am a student at the University of California, San Diego. I have a robust background in music- I was the choral accompanist for my high school choir, won several competitions both district and state-wide on piano, and started a piano program at the Boys and Girls Club in Montebello, Colorado where I began a basic music training program for the children. I have much experience teaching students students of all ages (5-53 years old). My teaching style requires that the students have access to a piano to practice the weekly assignments from their books. Lessons include -basics about piano playing with goal of development to advanced song performance -music theory and composition training -a little bit of the history of music and composers for context If the student wishes, recitals can be set up at local Retirement Home where the residents greatly appreciate the gift of music.
