I've recently relocated to Reno from the Bay Area where I taught private students from age 7 through adults of any age. I also taught elementary strings for 27 years in North San Jose. I play professionally and work with Symphony San Jose, , Monterey Symphony and The Reno Phil. I have coached Youth Symphony sectional rehearsals and chamber music. My students work on scales, etudes, concertos, sonatas, and show pieces. In addition they practiced their school music, prepared for youth orchestra auditions and did chamber music. Each year we presented a recital with a professional accompanist..We also work on other styles and genres for differing interests. My students have participated in MTAC which includes prepared scales, etudes, pieces and music theory for a statewide test each year.
