I started singing lessons at the age of five. My first vocal coach was a man who worked as a professional vocalist in various Broadway shows. Many of his techniques are still extremely useful today, and can be practiced by those at all levels of experience. My second vocal coach was an established Opera singer, a lead soprano of the Boston Opera. She taught me how the style of exercise has nothing to do with the genre of which you sing, but the mechanics of your voice. My third vocal coach has sung with some of Motown and R&B’s biggest artists, and has stressed and ingrained in me the importance of how less is more when expanding the vocal range. She has also worked with both Mariah Carey and the late Whitney Houston.
While performing recitals across the city of San Diego, I had the honor of collaborating with an accomplished music producer, Jason Brauner, at the age of 12. We co-wrote and recorded a number of songs, of which a couple were donated to an album of which proceeds were donated to victims of domestic violence. After working with Jason for about 5 years, I was signed to a record label in Los Angeles, at the age of 17 and worked with international producer Jean Michel Soupraya. Today, I am currently a lead singer for a San Diego based Reggae band, and have performed with this group at venues such as the House of Blues, Tin Roof, Hard Rock, Music Box, and more. I am constantly explicitly stressing the importance of expanding knowledge on ways to improve the voice not only for my own personal growth, but for the progression and improvement of my students.
I look forward to our future lessons.

- Beginner, Intermediate
Singing has been a passion and a form of artistic expression for me since the age of five. Trained by both male and female established vocal coaches in the genres of Opera, Broadway/Showtunes, R&B, and Soul, I believe that it is vital to keep an open mind to the teachings of professional vocalists at all levels and styles to fully harness the potential of your voice.
Sessions will be tailored to the student’s individual style and experience level. No prior singing experience is needed to begin harnessing the power of your voice. Furthermore, no single training session will be the same. Each lesson is completed with the student's vocal health and unique style in mind, building off of previous lessons, and focussing on areas of improvement where necessary. Students will work on breath work, facial positioning, and exercises developed to strengthen tone, widen the range, and improve pitch. I am constantly explicitly stressing the importance of expanding knowledge on ways to improve the voice not only for my own personal growth, but for the progression and improvement of my students.
