Hey there, I'm Chris! I've been studying and playing multiple instruments since I was 3 years old, and have dedicated my life to creating and teaching the best music possible. My degree in Jazz Saxophone from the Frost School of Music provided me with a skill set I can now share with other ambitious horn players! I attended Guilford High School and the University of Miami, both of which provided incredible opportunities to perform, observe, and experience music at its finest. My musical background is fairly wide-ranging - I play piano, guitar, saxophone, clarinet, flute, and sing, and I'm involved in pop, jazz, classical, and many other genres. Some examples of my personal accomplishments include: - Downbeat Award Winner 2020 w/ Frost Funk Fusion - Chris Brubeck Quintet w/ the New Haven Symphony Orchestra - Performed w/ Morris Pleasure & Roberta Flack - Performed w/ Maria Schneider - Berklee Jazz Festival Outstanding Soloist Award As an educator, I've worked with students of all ages and personalities, and have even worked with special education students in public schools. I'm extremely confident in my ability to teach hard concepts and to inspire my pupils towards practicing and improvement.
