Chris is an award winning theatrical performer, musician, vocalist and sought after performance coach in the Atlanta area. Under Chris’ influence as a gifted piano instructor, vocal teacher and performance coach, his clients have gone on to appear on stage and screen globally with credits given to performances at Carnegie Hall, The White House and The Walt Disney Company just to name a few. Chris has served as chief music director across the east coast in musicals such as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Sound of Music, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and just recently is credited to the role of Neville Craven in Lucy Simon’s Tony Award Winning musical, The Secret Garden. In his spare time Chris contributes back to the arts community by serving in local churches as a musician, gifted speaker and vocalist. Chris attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia where he studied music and vocal performance and continues to devote his energy to training and coaching people of all ages in the field of music. Voice students can expect to improve week to week in their vocal technique. Every voice has a unique timbre; I teach students to release built up tension and apply foundational techniques in order to unlock their own individual sound. I can help any student to sing with freedom, confidence, and expression. I teach piano students of all different ages and experience levels. I can teach students to read music and pursue musical excellence, to learn how to play classical and contemporary music using a variety of sheet music, chord charts and more!

Chris is a true professional with an easy-going teaching style and fun to be with. I am a bass/baritone and he helped me increase my range beyond what I thought I could do and improve my breathing which has really helped me as a choir member. I'd definitely take more classes from him again.

There are so many things I could say about my experience with Christopher Nanny, but the best thing about working with Christopher is the fact that every lesson is catered to the individual student. My lessons were always focused and fun, I left every lesson knowing I was prepared for my next performance. If you are a adult, teenager, or child who wants to receive excellent teaching and coaching, I would highly recommend taking lessons with Christopher Nanny.
