I have taught guitar for two years. My students have gone from not playing guitar at all to regularly learning new songs. Within the first lessons, for example, you can learn how to seamlessly connect chords allowing you to better tackle any song. I specialize in rock, pop and jazz, and use books, written manuscript and online tools. Amps, cables and music stands are available during lessons. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and can’t wait to meet you!

In 2014, I graduated Ball State University with a bachelor's degree in music composition.  While there I also focused on jazz studies, classical guitar and taught various styles of guitar lessons on the side.  I recently moved to Florida and currently living in the Four Corners area.
When teaching I strive to give the student the most out of each lesson. When it comes to solving problems, I methodically break them down to effectively solve the source of the issue.  I believe in honesty, reliability, keeping a level head and positive thought, keeping an open mind, and an open ear – you never know when you can learn something new.

There are three music teachers whom I consider to be the best I've ever had, and Chris Mann is one of them. The other two were simultaneously university professors and principal players of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. The common thread between all three is open mindedness, which allows for unconditional compassion for students and excellent skill in playing and teaching various styles. Chris Mann always listened to my questions and concerns, and he never failed to resolve my issues, whatever they were (technical, theoretical, motivational, etc.). If he knew the way (90% of the time I studied with him), he would show me; if he wasn't immediately sure of the way, he would find it and show me. I didn't come across any obstacle that Chris couldn't help me through. I believe that if you learn from Chris, there will be no limits, and you'll have a great time while you're at it.
