I have been playing the french horn for over ten years and have learned from a number of qualified instructors. I specialize in training aural skills, tone production, and historical knowledge. For beginners I typically use the First Book of Practical Studies by Robert Getchell and the Art of French Horn Playing by Philip Farkas. Intermediate students should expect etudes and studies from Kopprasch, and Maxime-Alphonse.

Christina Wyrick been teaching private lessons since 2011 and is currently available to teach lessons at her studio and online. Christina has helped beginning and intermediate students with performance and competition preparation, basic instrumental care and maintenance, practice strategies, and a number of other aspects of musical performance.

Christina received her training at Indiana Wesleyan University in 2015 where she received a degree in music performance. She is currently undergoing graduate studies at Central Michigan University.
