Paradiddlemania! is a drum method book that explores the use of paradiddles to expand your creativity behind the drum set. It's available through Wizdom Media via the Hudson Music Digital platform and includes over 720 variations on the paradiddle with more than 10 different ways to apply each one, placement and sticking variations, ornamentation variations, Polyrhythmic applications, snare drum and drum set applications, as well as Hybrid Rudiment applications.

Bow Wow Wow

I am currently the touring drummer for hit 80's band Bow Wow Wow. Known for their 1982 US Hit, "I Want Candy", Bow Wow Wow plays high-energy, punk and pop influenced rock that features heavily on Burundi beat-inspired drums and virtuoso bass.

Little Galaxies

Little Galaxies is a Venice Beach-based psychedelic-influenced rock band. In my time with them, we released two singles with music videos, with another in the works and a full-length album on the way.

Melody Thornton

In 2012, I was asked to put together a band to perform a live set with Melody Thornton of The Pussy Cat Dolls on That Grape Juice's "The Splash". We played three songs, including "Sweet Vendetta", "Lipstick & Guilt", and "Smoking Gun". The performance was recorded live in a studio and is still available on YouTube.

Katy Perry

I was asked to play military-style drums for Katy Perry's Part of Me music video. In the original version I was given a credit during the video, but the drums and the credit have since been removed from the video.

Glowbird (rock band)

Glowbird is an L.A.- based rock band, playing shows in the immediate area. We are currently writing music for a single release this year.

Mahwah High School Marching Band

I took over instruction of the poorly-managed Mahwah drum line prior to the band's 2003 season. The line included middle school students as well as high school students, so there were challenges in creating repertoire that was skill-appropriate across the age ranges. I quickly developed routines and cadences (which I am told are still being used to this day) and tried to instill a sense of pride and tradition into the drum line. I wrote the drum solo that year, including some very difficult passages, which the players absolutely devoured - proving to themselves and others that they COULD be an elite unit. I am really proud of my work with these students.

Mensa, the high IQ society, provides a forum for intellectual exchange among its members. There are members in more than 100 countries around the world. Activities include the exchange of ideas through lectures, discussions, journals, special-interest groups, and local, regional, national and international gatherings; the investigations of members' opinions and attitudes; and assistance to researchers, inside and outside Mensa, in projects dealing with intelligence or Mensa.

We offer students and professionals opportunities to grow artistically and professionally. Students can learn have a music industry experience through the PAS Internship program or apply to receive a PAS scholarship or grant. Professionals can create new percussion programs or gain recognition through PAS grants and contests. Many individuals have significantly impacted the world of percussion through the Percussive Arts Society and they are recognized in our Hall of Fame and Awards pages.
