Clarinet with Chase H.

I'm currently a 20 year old clarinetist from Baltimore, Maryland. I'm studying at University of Maryland for my Bachelor's in Music on full-scholarship. I grew up performing in county, region, and state-wide ensembles and was a member of the Baltimore Symphony Youth Orchestra. My sophomore year of high school I attended the prestigious Interlochen Center for the Arts Summer Camp in Northern Michigan. I then auditioned and was accepted on full-scholarship to the their Arts Academy to continue my high school education. I spent the last two years of high school playing in their band and orchestra, I was able to take part in commissioning a piece of music with the band at Carnegie Hall my senior year. I proceeded to graduate and was awarded the Fine Arts Award in Music. As far as lesson go, I will only be regularly scheduling lessons with younger students at beginners and intermediate levels. However, I am willing to coach some older, more advanced players for audition preparation or anything relate to that. As a student myself and as a teacher I understand that everyone learns in different ways and is at different levels or ability. Therefore, I will make sure to cater my lessons to each student's needs to ensure the greatest level of success. I want nothing more than to see young musicians with big dreams get a few steps closer to turning the dreams into realities. My studio is one that shows love and acceptance for all people regardless of gender/gender identity, sexual orientation, race, socio-economic status, body type, etc. I will not tolerate any form of harassment, bullying, discrimination, racism, etc from anyone. We are all human beings and all deserve to be treated as such. If needed, you may be asked to leave. I expect all of my students to be prepared for their weekly lessons and have the necessary materials/equipment needed (i.e. instrument, mouthpiece, reeds, etc). I understand that not everyone is able to spend money on numerous books and supplies regularly, so I will do my best to provide any necessary books through PDF files. But, due to my limited access and copyright laws I will not be able to supply you with everything. I hope to see you all soon!
