Teaching Locations:

I teach age ranges 5 and up, working primarily out of the Fabre book series, with additional materials for those wanting to play with chord structures.
I have experience working with both high functioning autistic and dyslexic clients, and I find great joy in discovering the best teaching methods for each student’s particular needs and goals.
What I do not teach is blues and jazz. I’m learning this genre and hope to one day be able to pass what I learn onto my students!
Keep learning, always. 🤓
About Chantal L.
I am a professional singer, songwriter, pianist and recording artist and my passion is teaching!
I have been singing in choral groups since age 8, and began singing professionally both in worship and secular contemporary at age 23. I have been singing with principal chorus for The Florida Orchestra, The Master Chorale of Tampa Bay for over 12 years. In addition to this, I perform contemporary music weekly alongside my husband Josh as our duo “Dear Augustine” across the greater Tampa Bay Area.
Josh and I are both singer songwriters, having released our debut self produced album in February 2019 under our original project “Love and Lament”, as well as released a single cover of “Melt With You” November 2019 and offer recording services to the public.
I work with clients struggling in understanding pitch, high school students in theater, to singer songwriters developing their original works. You can expect improvements along with a boost in confidence with every session. With applied practice outside of our time together, whether it be voice or piano, you will grow even faster.
With understanding how the voice works and learning how to apply correct vocal techniques, you can access the tools to take your singing to the next level and improve your confidence in the process.
When learning music theory and the piano, you can gain access to an instrument that helps you enjoy music and encourages you to create beautiful new music in the process.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your goals!

Chantal is a perfect fit my granddaughter. In just two lessons, my granddaughter's voice has improved. She makes learning so interesting! Chantal knows exactly how to connect with a 9 year old to make it fun while still developing her voice and respecting her creative side.

I greatly admire Chantal's teaching ability. She loves her students and connects with them on an individual basis that is incredibly encouraging!

Chantal has been giving piano lessons to all four of my girls. Their ages are from 6 to 16 years old. They are learning so much. Chantal is so patient with them and so flexible with our crazy schedules! We can't recommend her enough!

Chantal has an ear for diction that most instructors lack on some level, and regardless of how long you’ve been singing, she’s sure to be helpful.

I've always considered myself to be an instrumentalist/backup singer, but recently I started taking on more lead vocals and I just wasn't feeling comfortable with it. Chantal has helped me by teaching me practical techniques for approaching new songs. I feel I've made a lot of progress under her instruction.

Best vocal teacher I've ever had! she's taught me so much in such a short amount of time I definitely recommend her.
