I accompanied students at middle school level to NYSSMA solo competition. Organized, taught and directed small group string lessons at W. Haverstraw and Garnerville Elementary Schools.

Organized, taught and directed small string lesson groups and string orchestras in 3 elementary schools in a small inner city school district. Planned and performed with orchestras in all buildings for Winter, Spring, All District and All County Concerts. Coached and accompanied elementary students to NYSSMA competition and to All County Festivals. I also organized, taught and directed small string lesson groups, sring orchestra and symphonic orchestras at junior high and high school levels. Planned and performed with orchestras in Junior High and H.S. for Winter, Spring and special events concerts. Directed and Performed with the Newburgh Free Academy Strolling Strings at local, regional, national and international events. Coached and accompanied Jr. high and H.S. students to NYSSMA competition. All County, Area All State and All State Competitions.

The Newburgh Free Academy Strolling Strings

The Newburgh Free Academy Strolling Strings was a performing group extraordinaire excelling in "Pops Style" Orchestral Arrangements with choreography amongst the string performers in Violin, Viola, Cello, String Bass, Piano and Guitar. We performed for Gala Dinners, Political Events, and School Functions and more. We also travelled to Montreal, Canada, many cities in the U.S. as well as a performance tour joining the strollers from Rome, NY as the Empire Strolling Strings in a Performance Tour in Vienna, Graz, Saltzburg, Austria in 1996.

Athens Area Schools

I organized, taught, and directed orchestras, small group string lessons, small ensembles at elementary, middle school and high school levels. Organized winter, spring and special events concerts at all levels. I started and organized the Athens Area Strolling Strings which performed for local and regional events in the area. I accompanied high school students to All District, Regional and All State Orchestra competitions. Hosted All District Orchestra events. Adjudicated students for seating competitions for All District Orchestra events.

Horseheads Central School District, Horseheads, NY

Organized and taught small group string lssons, small ensembles at 3 elementary schools in Horseheads, NY. Performances included Winter and Spring Concerts and special events performances.

PMEA is a statewide nonprofit organization of over 4,500 members, dedicated to promoting the musical development of all Pennsylvanians. The present membership evolved from a small group of band directors dating from 1933. The American String Teachers Association, founded more than 60 years ago, is a membership organization for string and orchestra teachers and players, helping them to develop and refine their careers. ASTA's members range from budding student teachers to artist-status performers.
