Deusa Flauta Music

INSTRUCTION Provide private music lessons for early-grades music students and beginning/intermediate flutists in a one-on-one setting, both online and in-person. Select appropriate music based on the level of each student and their individual learning style. Develop a strong professional relationship with each student to make the lessons both educational and enjoyable. Encourage consistent practice techniques and provide additional learning aids when necessary. COMPOSITION Compose original scores and develop arrangements for solo and small ensemble performance, with a focus on woodwind instruments. Develop and maintain web-based marketing through Arrange Me (formerly SMP Press). PERFORMANCE Select, rehearse, and perform appropriate solo scores for special events in the community, including multiple pre-recorded appearances on One World Music Radio. Enrich the experience through color, sound, and musical line. Provide musical accompaniment and/or vocals in ensemble as requested. MANAGEMENT Research, plan, and develop business plan. Maintain business bank account, payment processing, accounts payable and receivable, and taxes. Design and implement marketing and sales strategies, including social media and word-of-mouth initiatives. Select and purchase all instructional materials, and maintain a regular schedule of instrument repairs. Manage day-to-day operations, including lead generation, new client interviews, and appointment scheduling.
