As an active Miss America titleholder, I performed across Massachusetts sharing my original pop music and performed in the Puerto Rican Festival of Massachusetts. At the Miss Massachusetts Competition, I won the talent award singing Les oiseaux dans la charmille from Offenbach's Les Contes d'Hoffmann.

Broadcast Music Inc. was founded in 1939 by forward-thinkers who wanted to represent songwriters in emerging genres, like jazz, blues and country, and protect the public performances of their music. Operating on a non-profit-making basis, BMI is now the largest music rights organization in the U.S. and is still nurturing new talent and new music.

The young women involved have made a significant difference in people’s lives through their charitable and community service endeavors, using the national platform to educate millions of Americans on issues facing the nation. Miss America is more than a title, it’s a movement of empowering young women everywhere to dream big, to insist that their voices be heard and to inspire change in the world around them.
