I am a rising Sophomore at the Honors College of Charleston majoring in English and Theater with a minor in Spanish. I have been professionally trained in the arts for thirteen years, and aim to pursue acting and musical theater in New York City when I graduate school. In past summers, I have attended the Broadway Theater Project, The Performing Arts Project, Interlochen and Camp Broadway, as well as having taken classes at the Pittsburgh CLO and Pittsburgh Musical Theater. Of course, I participated extensively in theater and choir at my high school, as well. I am currently taking private voice lessons and acting lessons, and have participated in over twenty plays and musicals. I have experience coaching students in musical theater type songs and monologues, and am passionate about using my gift to help others. Academically, I excel in English and Spanish. My focus in English is creative writing, and I have several poems published. In high school, I took all AP and Honors English courses and scored very well on my SAT and ACT tests. My Spanish classes followed the same trend and I plan to study abroad for a semester in Trujillo, Spain in the next year. I am interested in revising essays, working with grammar, helping with creative writing and of course, tutoring in Spanish vocabulary, grammar and writing. Please let me know if I can assist you!
