Hi ! My name is Carol and my passion is theatre - acting and singing. I have performed all my life in both plays and musicals. I have directed more than 20 plays/musicals working with all age groups. My degree is B.A. from New York University. I studied with Stella Adler after college and went on to professional work and later community theatre. You will notice I spell theatre with the traditional "re" - to me it means "authentic". If you wish to enhance your believablity and really get to know each of the characters you portray, I will be able to help you. I have an actual method for creating a character, whether it is acting or acting out a song. This method allows you to gently travel into your character and because you are in the "zone", relieves the tension and nervousness that come along with performing. It's fun, easy and rewarding.
