Sometimes listening to music is just simply not good enough: for those of us that truly love music, we have to learn to play. This is where I was at 9 years ago when I started playing guitar. It wasn't enough just listening to The Police or The Beatles or James Taylor: I wanted to feel the music in my own fingertips.
I started out teaching myself, reading as many books and watching as many videos as possible. Before long I was learning entire albums by my favorite artists. When I went to college I was able to take music theory classes to broaden my knowledge and during this time I also started teaching my peers guitar.
I know what it's like to be starting out and the frustration of not knowing how to get where you want to go, but no one should have to go through that hazy period. Since I've already been through countless books, hundreds of videos, and thousands of hours playing and practicing, I would absolutely love to share my knowledge and save you some time in the process!
I look forward to hearing about your own personal guitar related goals and how I can help you reach them!
