Bryan A. makes a living as a teacher, concert guitarist, cabaret artist, transcriber, studio artist, and composer/arranger. In addition to his private guitar and piano studio, Bryan is currently on strings faculty at Sherwood at Columbia College and Southport Performing Arts Conservatory. Past collaborators and patrons include Inaside Chicago Dance, Steppenwolf Theatre, Northwestern University, Pick-Staiger Concert Hall, Devonshire Cultural Center, and Court Theatre. Bryan's guitar style is operatic, influenced by rock, alternative, folk, blues, jazz, pop, punk, R&B, hip-hop, and metal.

Bryan is highly experienced in teaching ages 4 and up. Present and past faculty positions include Northwestern University, Sherwood at Columbia College, Southport Performing Art Conservatory, and the McGaw YMCA.

I've only had two lessons but so far Bryan has been super! His lessons are packed with good clear instruction. I'm slightly more than a beginner and he was able to jump in with lessons that challenge me yet aren't overwhelming! So far so good. :)

very knowledgeable and has extensive technical training but doesnt force any style ---allows a guitar player to develop their own style and sense of creativity--great instructor!
