I started teaching piano lessons when I was in high school, and taught about 13 students ranging in age from 5-17 years old. I took a break from teaching when I went to college but have revisited several different times (in different parts of the country) throughout my life, as I absolutely love sharing my God-given gift with others who are eager to learn. I started taking piano lessons when I was just 5 years old and continued to take lessons until I graduated from high school. I began picking up other instruments starting in 4th grade, which led me to marching band in high school, and even to the Auburn University Marching Band (for a front runner in SEC football!!). I have a passion for music. My experience (as a teacher as well as a Mom) has always led me to success in teaching. I consider myself generally trained as a musician, as I have years of experience in both band and chorus, as well as acting experience in musical theatre up to and including on a professional level.
