Here is a little bio that by brother wrote about me: "Brogan got his performance start playing guitar at church in Oregon for several years in middle school and high school. As he grew more rounded and his musical interest became much more complex, a serious dive into music ensued. Brogan is a 24-year-old guitarist who’s musical accolades include radio appearances, playing with Paul Allen at the Experience Music Project Founder’s Awards in Seattle, and receiving a full tuition scholarship to attend the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. But accolades have a weak grasp on the totality of Brogan’s love of music as a lifestyle. His fortes range from metal to jazz to modern classical, and he picks up styles from hearing music across the world due both to ambitious listening and international travel. Brogan’s evolving musical taste and future journeys can be determined by no one, but one thing is for sure. Brogan  will be playing music forever." As he said in the bio, I went to Berklee College of Music which I graduated from in 2013. At Berklee I got to learn from incredible teachers with many years of experience, and I try to pass on as many golden nuggets that I've picked up from them to my students as possible. *** Lesson Details *** I love to teach the guitar. I have taught many lessons over the years and have received many lessons from professional teachers and musicians. It is my goal to help you improve in whatever you want to do in music, and I am excited to be a part of the legacy of the passing on of musical skills and knowledge. I teach technique and theory that can be applied to any style of music. Some styles that I have experience in are jazz, rock, classic rock, pop, classical, modern classical, metal, blues, Klezmer, Afro-Pop and improvised music. I create my own curriculum to give you tools (chord knowledge, technique, reading skills, scales, non-scales, diads, triads, modes, etc.) to pursue your own goals on the guitar. *** Travel Equipment *** I can bring my guitar and a small practice amp. I expect the student to provide their own guitar. If they don't have an amp I can bring an acoustic or play unplugged. *** Specialties *** My specialties are metal (prog, death, djent), jazz and pop. I also have experience performing Afro Pop, classical, funk, fusion, Brazilian, Klezmer and Latin music.
