I strive to create an environment in which students are inspired to discover, create, learn, express themselves and have fun. I focus on strengthening students' foundational techniques, through scales, etudes and other materials and then applying those skills in pieces and songs that are designed to build a good basis of musical knowledge, helping students to become confident in their musical abilities.

I strive to create an environment in which students feel comfortable to learn, experiment, and express themselves and in which they look forward to coming every week.

I can provide music and other items needed for the instrument (shoulder rests, strings, rosin, etc) but will need to be reimbursed.

Brittany is a great teacher to start your journey towards learning how to play the Violin. She makes you feel relaxed and is patient enough to let you go your pace.

Brittany is absolutely one of the most delightful instructors I've been lucky enough to encounter. I came to her as an adult knowing nothing about either music or violin. In the months I've been taking lessons with her, I feel very proud of what I've learned so far. 

Her home studio is beautiful and warm. She always greets me with a smile and knows exactly what our lesson plan and goal for the day will be. Brittany is extremely patient whenever I struggle to grasp a concept, and enthusiastically answers any question I can think to ask. That said, she isn't afraid to push you to try, either, which I very much appreciate!
