At the persistence of a friend, I began teaching her daughter and discovered the amazing rewards I reaped from teaching others, something that I feel passionately about and love! Because singing is such a personal experience it's important to me that we bond. I try and tailor how I teach to best fit the needs and personality of the student. I like to put students at ease because feeling comfortable is very important to making progress. Creating a safe space for students to succeed and fail is paramount to me. Personally, I am a Type-A personality so I tend to be very thorough and not much gets past me! It's important to me that every student understands I have their best interest at heart and want them to succeed.
