Guitar with Brian B.

Brian B., a guitarist for over fourteen years, has made a name for himself in Oklahoma City as a performer, instructor, and composer. He is a recent graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s of Music and minor in Jazz Studies. Brian has had the great privilege to study under Walter Kelly, Bruce Saunders, Danny Vaughan, and recently studying classical with Matthew Denman. While at the University of Central Oklahoma, Brian auditioned into the universities top jazz combo, the Jazz Composers combo, which focused on original compositions by each of its members. It was during his tenure in this combo that Brian discovered his love for composing and arranging for small jazz ensembles. He has written a number of compositions, but his favorite original composition to date is entitled “Iridescence”, which you can hear on his SoundCloud.
