    About Brad E.

*** Studio Equipment *** keyboard Yamaha P-60, keyboard Yamaha Piaggero NP-12 *** Specialties *** I am available to teach piano in any genre or style. I also like to include improvisation, songwriting, composition, and theory in the lessons for those interested. I specialize in all genres of music on piano. I was classically trained, and I achieved a degree in jazz piano performance from Webster University. As far as methods go, it depends on the students' needs. Sometimes I use some of my own handouts, but more often than not I combine several methods including the Schaum series. I use the Notespeller books for beinners seeking to read notation. I also develop my own exercises to help the student develop ear-training skills. Sometimes I may write out an arrangement of a pop or rock tune that tailors to the students' interest.

Brad gave our daughter piano lessons in our home 20 years ago when our daughter was eight years old. He was very engaging and made the lessons fun for her. She was very excited about learning the piano for the first time.

Great lessons. The melody both on piano and vocal, the chord progression, the theory behind the chords and melody, and harmony. Guitar and / or bass as wanted as well. The whole song, not just a piano lesson.

Brad is an excellent instructor! He prepares helpful lesson plans that incorporate theory and musicianship into the process. As a lifelong pianist, I still have so much to learn and am grateful for Brad’s enthusiasm and knowledge.
