Started playing violin at the age of 10 but never achieved my performance degree until the age of 54. In the meantime earned a degree in zoology and spent the intervening years as a medical transcriptionist at various hospitals. Played in several orchestras in the MA and NH area including 13 years with the New Hampshire Philharmonic. After earning my degree I was string ensemble conductor at Pinkerton Academy. My late husband and I also started a group called the "3rd Sunday Fiddlers"; we performed at weddings, St Patrick's day events, funerals, retirement parties ' church services. I have loved every minute of the time I have spent with students and am looking forward to many more.
