We will focus on technique, ear training and musicality. I will help you to become a better musician, as well as a better bass player. I find a uniquely suited approach that fits your personality and style so we can help to get you work!

I have been a professional musician for the last 15 years of my life. I have focused on performing but I have a degree in music composition from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. I can teach anyone but I focus on teaching aspects of music that I believe will more prepare you to play in a number of settings. I emphasize ear training, technique, study of harmony, rhythm and phrasing, and want you to become a better musician so that you can bring those skills to any project you are a part of.
