Percussion with Ben H.

I am an experienced teacher and drummer, living in Murfreesboro, TN. I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelors of Music. Percussion students can expect to improve in areas of fundamentals, rudimental techniques, and overall growth in their ability to read music with my teaching. Each student learns differently, and I pride myself on adapting to them, and what helps them learn and grow the most with their music. I teach drum students at both the beginner and intermediate levels, and have most of my experience teaching elementary, middle, and high schoolers. I was involved with band and music all throughout my life, starting with 7 years piano lessons at an elementary age, and then transitioning into percussion starting in middle school. I received music scholarships and had many other rewarding experiences because of my music involvement, and I hope to bring that passion and excitement for music to each student as well. I look forward to meeting you and helping you to become a better musician!
