Travel the world through music from the comfort of any seat in your home. I have been doing this for the past twelve years with my guitar. I have been through the rivers and amazons of Brazil, getting to know their rhythms that influenced the catchy Bossa Nova; I have walked the muck and mud of Southern USA, playing the Blues and training my fingerstyle technique to imitate that of my idols, and I have cleaned through the distorted grit of Rock around the world to find my own voice. These are only a few places I have travelled. After my education in Guitar, Production, and Songwriting at Berklee College of Music, I can help you cater to the lesson plan you need to take your skills to the next level, the next venue, and the pieces inside of you waiting to be manifested into notes. When do we start?

About Michael

Hola! Michael here, I'm an American/Mexican raised in Mexico. I moved to the US to pursue music. I went to Berklee College of Music where I studied Music Production, Composition, and Songwriting! I am now living in Nashville jamming with every person I can meet!

Michael is always enthusiastic and excited to work with my daughter on her guitar skills. He makes afternoon activities something my daughter thoroughly looks forward to. Michael is passionate about music and it is contagious to all his students! Ask Michael to teach you or your kids!!!

My two boys were shy and inexperienced guitar wanna-be players. Michael opened up his home and his heart and slowly but surely built confidence within them. He has the patience and kindness that were necessary for my boys. However, he knew when and how to push them to become better and more confident with each class. His methods were unique and effective. They looked forward to Wednesday afternoons with Michael. Although we have moved away, my children speak highly of the kind and experienced player that Michael was with them when they needed it most. I recommend Michael!
Tiffany
Michael is a real rockstar! Being classically trained he knows all the ins and outs of music theory, strumming and finger picking techniques and any groove you might want to learn! Michael is extremely versatile in the styles of music he masters on the guitar while being patient, funny and incredibly encouraging! Besides being highly proficient on the guitar, he manages to let production, songwriting and singing he a part of the lesson. Michael taught me how to be confident in my voice as a musician and inspires me to be better at guitar playing everyday!

I bring a passionate approach to help vocalists develop confidence in their performance!

I’m a conservatory trained musician, with years of professional experience. I enjoy the balance of my work as a singer/songwriter, performer, producer and vocal coach.

As your instructor, I will help you build a solid foundation in vocal technique through breathing and vocal exercises suited to your style and skill while tailoring to your personal goals. We will then apply the technique to songs.

For those interested in performance, I can help coach your performance skills to help you feel confident, about singing on stage!

For those interested in songwriting, my lesson plan can include learning foundations in songwriting to help you create your own original songs and melodies.

About Jerrica

I am a professional singer, songwriter, pianist, recording artist and touring dancer. I was born and raised in Vancouver, BC, Canada and now reside in Nashville, Tennessee. I received my formal musical training with an ARCT in Teaching with the Royal Conservatory of Music. My performing experien

I am an experience pianist of 20 years, trained classically under the study of teachers from USC and Julliard. I am available to teach from the classics to the popular pop covers of today's music. You will learn to read musical notation and be able to correlate that to your hand coordination on piano. Piano is one of the most versatile instruments in today's cultures and I guarantee that after you have put in the time to dedicate yourself to this instrument, you will be sure to impress just about anyone!

I completely enjoy playing the piano, but never seem to have as much time to do so as I would like. Because I am so involved in instrumental violin and flute playing and teaching right now, I keep my level of piano teaching at the beginner levels. I have played Chopin, Debussy, Schumann (both), Listz, Beethoven, etc. but still feel most confident with beginning students.

After speaking to multiple tutoring companies, we discovered Matthew. Matthew was very professional and made my son feel comfortable. They had a total of 5 tutoring sessions covering Math, English, Science and Reading. My son took the ACT after his tutoring sessions and scored a 23. We were very pleased with the progress our son made by going from an ACT score of 19 to 23 after only 5 sessions with Matthew. I would highly recommend Matthew J. Horwich to anyone needing tutoring.
Carroll
Matthew explained his approach to coaching and the plan so we were able to make an educated choice on the best tutor for our son. Matthew was responsive, organized and worked very well with our son. He communicated directly with our son and cc:ed me so that I was aware of the plan and f/u. His scores did improve on the SAT and we were pleased with the investment.
Gaetano
Matt has been awesome for my student. His math skills have improved greatly, and his writing has come from illegible to what can now be described as neat and readable. Matt has been very patient and deliberate with our son and has taken the time to really explain things to Jake in a way he can understand. We would recommend this tutor to any parent looking for a tutor for their grammar school student! Matt is also reliable and prompt and showed up when expected which was helpful with our very busy schedules.

Students who study with me learn a technique based on clear, focused vowels, with a ringing tone. I am able to teach art song in Latin, German, French, Italian, and English, as well as operatic and musical theater styles. I am interested especially that young singers begin on a good foundation with repertoire suitable for their voices. I help my students achieve goals such as placement in choirs and participation in vocal public performance.

About Mark

I am an active performer eager to teach organ, piano, voice, and provide collaborative keyboard accompaniment to vocalists. I teach youth and adults. Private lessons are given at my church in Worcester or online through the TakeLessons platform. I also teach in-home piano lessons. My students have

"If I could click on infinite stars for Jamie I would. My voice is always growing stronger and more flexible and that is due to her wonderful teaching. She is extremely knowledgable and teaches in a way that is easy to understand and makes learning fun. I have been studying with Jamie for around 5 or 6 years and there is a reason I have never strayed. In addition to her amazing vocal technique and teaching style, Jamie is one of the best mentors to young artists. She is encouraging, smart, and caters to all the needs of performers. Whether she is helping work through a tough note, serving as a mentor for how to manage college auditions, or even listening to personal problems, Jamie is always there for her students. I am so lucky to have found her all those years ago and I know she will help others just as much as she helped me."

"We love Ms Taylor! My son (6) started piano on his 5th birthday and a year later he is still excited and can't wait for his lessons with Ms Taylor. He wants to practice and is always so excited when he finishes a song. He loves showing off to his friends and family, playing songs on the piano. Admittedly, when we started piano, I wasn't expecting much, as my son was a typical 5 year old boy, who likes to wiggle and loses focus quickly; however, Ms Taylor is caring, patient and very knowledgeable and works great with children, and my son is really enjoying his piano lessons and has asked to take on guitar lessons as well in the future. Great teacher and experience!"
