I help people of all levels and ages make beautiful music on the violin! I have been playing the violin since I was two years old, and teaching violin for thirty years! I also play piano and cello. I have developed an unparalleled passion and precision to my teaching approach. I teach throughly, including music reading, theory, musicianship and of course technique and repertoire in the lessons. As a professional musician, I play in the Norwalk Symphony Orchestra and freelance throughout Fairfield and Westchester Counties. I have run three music schools for children and now teach privately online and in my home. I am active in the local business and arts communities. I have taught nearly a thousand students of all ages, levels and ability levels. I work with my students to find the time and develop the discipline to make regular progress. No talent necessary - learn at your own pace! I excel at efficient lessons and teaching you how to practice efficiently to make maximum progress with minimum time investment. I am happy to answer questions in between lessons, including reviewing a short video with a question and/or answering with a quick video to demonstrate the answer.
