Hey, there! My name is Ashley, and I am currently a college student at Fordham University at Lincoln Center! I have been training on the alto saxophone for upwards of ten years, and have received numerous honors within my county, region, and state. I have been teaching since 2015, and my students, too, have gone on to earn top chairs within their ensembles. I trained as an assistant music teacher in Virginia during the 2015-2016 school year, as well as as a counselor at a music camp at James Madison University. I am most suited to teach beginners or early-intermediate level students, so whether you're preparing for an audition, or you've never opened your case before, I'm here to help! My style of teaching is very goal-driven, so that I can cater my skill set to my client's to engender a positive, stimulating experience. I find such joy in sharing my love for music, and look forward to doing so with you or your student!+ Read More
I offer competitive private lessons to students of all ages who are beginner to early-intermediate saxophone players.
I aided students of all musical abilities in growing their skill sets and shining as young leaders and ensemble-members.
I volunteered over 1,000 hours to both the music and drama departments at a small, rural middle school in Virginia.
Really great teacher, helped me out a lot
Ashley is a patient, entusiastic, and professional teacher. I was incredibly pleased with the caliber and price of my lessons. I would highly recommend this instructor to anyone who is looking to learn saxophone.
