I have been teaching a wide range of ages, levels, and styles for ten years. I have a unique way of meeting a student where they are and teaching them based on their learning style and personality. Students excel and reach goals we set together because lessons are designed for that student specifically to accommodate them.

I’m Ashley! I’m a wife and stay at home mom. I love teaching violin to all kids of students. I have had 5 year old students, as well as a few 70 year old students! My focus is to build goals with you and design a plan to get you there. All violin starts with the basics, but how we develop after that is up to you! Want to play with a band? We will work on improv and chord reading. Orchestra? We’ll focus on tone. Solo stuff or just for fun? We’ll play it by ear (haha) and work on your goals and favorite songs as they arise! I also have experience working with special needs kids and a desire to see these unique students have fun and learn new concepts with music.

My son has AD and is low on the autism spectrum.  He began lessons with Ashley when he was five and he simply adores her.   Her patience was an incredible factor in instilling in him a real love of playing.  She has high expectations but she isn't overly demanding or judgmental - lessons are a true sharing of her talent.  She employs multiple teaching techniques and strategies which keep students engaged in their learning.
