Ashley B. found yoga in 2009 as a former dancer. She enjoyed the physical practice similar to dance, but discovered something deeper that nourished her soul. In 2013, Ashley found The Studio in Washington, DC as her safe haven amongst the busy city. Ashley fell in love with the practice and knew she wanted to share it with others, so she completed the 200-hour teacher training at The Studio DC in 2014.
Studying with master teachers Bryan Kest and Govind Das, Ashley has learned to honor the body and cultivate consciousness through tools like breathing techniques that helped her garner self-awareness. To Ashley, yoga is a source of joy that spreads throughout all aspects of her life from physical health, to personal relationships, and her working career. Ashley strives to continue learning and challenging herself through physical asanas in addition to looking inward to share the healing practice with others.
