I'm a NYC-based interdisciplinary artist/writer and English, Theatre, and Music teacher who has extensive experience in private teaching, in-class tutoring, musical theatre direction, curriculum design, and classroom teaching. I have an MA in Educational Theatre, a BA in English and Music, and am New York State certified in teaching English and Theatre. I am Brooklyn-based and can teach online, or I can travel to teach your students, assuming easy accessibility by train. I am also open to developing curriculum for a learning pod, if that is what you are looking to start. My approach to instruction for all of the fields I teach is based in having high expectations and meaningful relationships with all of my students. I try to connect all of the work that happens in my tutoring/private lesson sessions to students' passions and interests, all while maintaining a high level of rigor and professionalism. By drawing upon students' prior knowledge, students are much better able to develop their skills in all of the areas I have been highly trained in to teach, whether it be performing a theatrical monologue, writing their college essay, performing a saxophone solo, or analyzing a complex work of literature.

Anthony is a great instructor. He is very attentive, detailed and knowledgable. He sees what needs work and has a very strong grasp of the fundamentals. He has a flexible schedule and can work at the student's pace. Anthony make sure the student does things the right way and doesn't develop bad habits.
