I received my MFA in Acting from the Shakespeare Theatre Company’s Academy for Classical Acting at The George Washington University in addition to earning a BA in Theatre from Florida State University. My experience as a professional actor with Off-Broadway, International, and Regional credits, enhances my ability to work with actors in a unique and personal way!
An actor makes many personal and professional discoveries on the way toward fulfilling his/her artistic goals. He/she often gets disenchanted by the hustle and bustle of the industry. However, I want my students to understand that the actor's career can be a competitive and challenging journey. But, it is rewarding and exciting if we dedicate focus to the craft itself!
Whether you are beginning actor or an experienced veteran, we will work to confront the obstacles and emotional blocks that get in your way. Each lesson is aimed toward refining and transforming your acting technique to help you feel more confident, prepared, and excited about the work you create!
My goal is to help you build a solid technique in voice & text, physicalization & movement, and theatrical improvisation, so that you illuminate your natural talents and present your best self in the audition room, in rehearsal, and in performance!
