I received my Masters in Fine Arts in Acting with The Shakespeare Theatre Company at George Washington University in addition to earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre from Florida State University. My experience as a professional actor for the past decade, with Off-Broadway, International, and Regional credits, enhances my ability to work with actors in a unique and personal way!
An actor has many personal and professional discoveries on the way toward fulfilling his/her artistic goals. And he/she oftentimes gets disenchanted by the hustle and bustle of the industry. However what I want my students to understand is that the actor's career is a journey, and albeit a competitive and challenging one, it can be the most rewarding and exciting one of your life, if you let it be!
Whether you are just getting started or are an experienced veteran of the stage, we will dig deep to confront the obstacles and emotional blocks that get in your way. We will refine and transform your technique to help you feeling more confident, prepared, and excited about the work you create!
My goal is to help you illuminate your natural talents by building a solid technique in voice & text, character physicalization & movement, and theatrical improvisation. I want you to present your best self in the audition room, in rehearsal, and on stage so that you may book the jobs you deserve and, most importantly, lead the life you want as an artist!
