About Annalise S.

I am a very positive and patient teacher. I focus 50% of my lessons on physical and vocal warm-ups and 50% on the student's chosen singing and/or acting repertoire. I look forward to working with students of all levels and find joy in helping people find their voice.

I earned my bachelor of music in vocal performance from the University of Redlands and my MFA in Acting from UCLA School of Theater, Film, and Television.

Annalise has a very impressive background in music and education, and it really reflects through her lessons with my daughter. She has instilled a lot of confidence in my daughter, to the point that she tried out for, and made, Advanced Choir at her school. I very highly recommend Annalise!

Talented Teacher

Annalise is a wonderful teacher with a strong passion to spread her knowledge of music to others. I've had the pleasure of working with her in operas and musicals and can honestly say that she is incredibly talented and has a wonderful gift. She is patient and knows how to make lessons a fun learning experience. A true treasure!

She's a great teacher!

I've been taking singing lessons from Annalise for a while. There is no denying that my singing has improved since I started! Not only that, she also convinced me to audition (and eventually perform) in a musical (something I never thought I would have the courage to do)! She's a kind, energetic, fun, and encouraging voice teacher! You won't regret a lesson with her! :)

Wonderful & Patient

I have been taking singing lessons with Annalise for a while now I can say without a shadow of a doubt that she is fantastic. Not only do I sound better but I feel more confident. I am taking lessons for a specific audition, but she doesn't just focus on the songs I'm trying to learn but on the fundamentals helping me to build a stronger foundation.
