I attended Boston Conservatory's Vocal Pedagogy Professional Workshop in the summer of 2020. The workshop included lectures and demonstrations on teaching voice lessons across multiple different genres. Faculty of the workshop included Lynn Helding, Kevin Wilson, Mary Saunders-Barton, Ken Bozeman, and Patty Thom.

National Center for the Voice, University of Utah

I attended the Summer Vocology Institute in the summer of 2021, completing classes including Principles of Voice, Voice Habilitation, Instrumentation for Voice Analysis, and Voice for Performers. Vocology is the intersection point of voice teaching, voice science, and speech-language pathology. These courses really helped me gain a deeper understanding for how the human voice works, enriching my teaching!

ASHA is the national professional, scientific, and credentialing association for more than 173,000 members and affiliates who are audiologists; speech-language pathologists; speech, language, and hearing scientists; audiology and speech-language pathology support personnel; and students. Audiologists specialize in preventing and assessing hearing and balance disorders as well as providing audiologic treatment, including hearing aids.
