Flute with Anna H.

My name is Anna Hernandez and I have been a flutist for most of my life. I let my love for flute and music drive me to be competitive and the best I could be. I was consistently the top player in the top ensembles throughout middle school, high school, and college. I had the wonderful opportunity to work with stellar musicians who helped me become the seasoned and well-rounded musician I am today. My degree focus is on Music Therapy, but as a result of my music studies, I became more dedicated and passionate about my flute playing. I have studied flute in college for over 5 years and have played it for almost 15. I have played in ensembles of both Universities I have attended - The University of Texas at Austin and Texas Woman's University. I love to work with students and instill the love of music in them by finding what their passion and likes are that are so uniquely them. I also pay very close attention to individual needs and resolve the problem with various techniques and options for all kinds of learners. I cannot wait to start this musical journey with you!
