    About Anna H.

Hello! My name is Anna and I'm a musician and educator from Austin, TX. I am proud to have been a Normandy Scholar (honors history program) at the University of Texas at Austin, and studied Astronomy for my minor. I earned a bachelor's degree in 2011. While at UT Austin I studied violin performance at the Butler School of Music and played professionally for many years in the Temple Symphony Orchestra, the Austin Civic Orchestra and the St. Edwards Orchestra. I am currently a professional fiddle player and violinist in Nashville. I am passionate about igniting the musical gifts of my students, and offer a teaching style that combines hands-on instruction, lavish encouragement, personal discipline and humor. There is no one-size-fits-all model; I tailor the curriculum to the needs of each individual student. I am eager to meet you and see what kind of progress we can make together!
