Hi, there! My name is Anna and I can't wait to meet you! My teaching combines elements of classical violin and fiddle to foster strong musicianship and stylistic versatility. I believe in working with students to become well-rounded musicians from the very beginning. My own background is in Suzuki, traditional classical violin, and fiddle. I teach using the O’Connor Violin Method, which I have found to be very effective at developing creativity, musicianship, technique, and music theory from day one. I value mentorship and strong technique, and I know that being detail-oriented and technically-driven helps make emotionally-resonant music. There is nothing like witnessing the creative expression of a student connecting with their instrument. With a cohesive approach, this is my fundamental goal. I look forward to meeting you!
