When I think about singing, I think about flow. The voice should be able to move without any inhibitions. I strive to sing in this way and to teach my students how to achieve to sing this way. My technique involves vocal warm ups that will help loosen your voice, your body and your mind. I also find that expression is very important in music. We will go into every song searching for the right emotions to convey not just for the song, but for yourself. With every lesson you will find it easier to correct yourself during your practicing and end up falling in love with making music.

Really loved the way she teaches! She explains it from different point of views, not just a one way of teaching or learning!

Ana Quintana knows how to motivate you to keep going. She have what I look for in a teacher and that is patience, flexibility, focus, and most importantly she have the knowledge, and because of that she sets high expectations for us, the students. It's a gift been taught by her.

I have had such an amazing experience with Ana! I came to her kind of nervous because I had only ever done pop music, but really wanted to try classical music. She was/is patient, kind, and extremely knowledgeable on the subject, and she has been able to explain the technique and music in a way that someone who is new to it can really understand and relate to. We always have fun! I would recommend Ana to anyone.
