About Alice M.

I became an mAmSAT certified Alexander Technique teacher after a 30 year career in the computer industry. The Alexander Technique certification required 3 years, 1600 hours of training. I came to the Alexander Technique as a second career after searching for a way to provide relief from chronic pain. The Technique has helped me minimize the impact of physical and psychological pain. With lessons, people can learn to pause and choose an action when given a stimulus instead of habitually reacting without thought. I am interested in teaching adults to improve quality of life, balance and skills to avoid falls. I'm also interested in working with people with Parkinson's, MS and other diseases that negatively impact the quality of daily living.
