Hello Yogi's!!!! I'm Alex, and I would love to be apart of your journey both on and off your mat! Yoga came too me within the last year and created so much space for clarity, focus, and strength into my life... I grew up on the east coast dancing my entire life. Now, living in Los Angeles as a professional dancer I've been able to infuse my practice of yoga, with my dance technique, background, and musicality. I received my first 200-hour teacher training certificate in Hot Power Fusion from Corepower Yoga this past August. Since receiving my certificate I am currently completing a 5 week extensions program also through Corepower to refine my skills and knowledge as a teacher. With my certificate I've been required to participate in atleast 60 hours of physically taking class as well as attending numerous lectures and guided classes to further in depth my knowledge of the body, mind, and soul. Through my guidance in yoga I aim to challenge your body while confronting deep-routed emotions or feelings, or even surface issues that you feel are coming up in your life. Through different yoga intentions, and ideologies I work to infuse yoga postures and parts of the sequence to better suit what emotionally and energetically you are feeling that day. All in all my class is an hour for yourself; an hour to detach from the outside and travel inward. No cell phones, no extra discussions, just you and your thoughts all on your mat! I'm just there to guide YOUR journey! I look forward to guiding you!
