Cello with Alexandra K.

I am currently a student at the Juilliard School in New York-- I completed my Bacherlor's degree and will be continuing my studies for my Master's degree. I began to play the cello at the age of 6. I have performed in Nichols Concert Hall, North Shore Center For The Performing Arts, and Bennett Gordon Hall in Ravinia. In New York, I have performed in Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, and the Juilliard School’s Paul Hall, Morse Hall, and Wilson Theater. I have also performed in concert halls in Europe; in Salzburg, Austria, and Lisbon, Portugal. I have taught in settings such as private lessons, cello sectionals, and public outreach classes. I am experienced with Suzuki and a more advanced level as well. I value the personal interaction between me and the student extremely rewarding. Since I am a student myself, I can help you find different ways of practicing that works for you and can help you learn how to navigate your way around the cello efficiently. In the end, I believe that telling your own story is one of the most valuable aspects of music, and I am excited to help you to find your own way of telling your story with the cello.
