I am a professional musical theatre singer in New York City, concentrating primarily in classic musical theatre. I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Music in Vocal Performance from Ithaca College School of Music, where I studied opera and classical music.
I have worked primarily in professional and regional theatres in the Hudson Valley region in Upstate New York. In 2016, I was nominated Best Actress in a Musical for Broadway World’s Central New York Awards for my work as Johanna in Kevin Archambault’s Sweeney Todd (Kevin was also nominated for Best Director of a Musical).
Currently, I am auditioning and working in New York City, while coaching with Ron Raines, Melinda Hall, and Jack Livigni.
Together, we will laugh at music jokes, cry at the painful dramatic parts of the play, and build up a grit and determination to get you wherever you'd like to go with your singing. Learn and practice simple, effective technique to free your voice, connect more deeply with the life inside the text, and enjoy painting full, delicious musical phrases. Sign up now!
Alexandra Is a phenomenal voice instructor. She presented the material and exercises in a precise, simple and professional manner. She not only maintained my vocal ability but enhanced it as well by teaching me confidence and instructing me in ways to improve my performances. Alexandra has a unique ability to meet her students where they are at and she allows her students to create their own goals and vision in singing. Her instruction in technique is profound and truly life-changing, teaching in any vocal style. She brought back the joy of singing in my life in a way that no other teacher in the past has done.
