Having started violin at the age of 3, Alex has dedicated her life to the mastery of the violin and music performance. She has been performing and recording music across the globe since the age of 12 and has been teaching private lessons for the past 16 years. Alex is based in New York City.

As a performer, recording artist, and arranger, Alex performs with the biggest artists of today such as Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys, Nicki Minaj, Pharrell, Eminem, Dr. Dre and many others. She performs on shows such as Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Today Show, Good Morning America, The iHeart Radio Music Awards, and the 90th Oscars Academy Awards.

Alex maintains a private studio where she provides individual lessons for students ranging from first time players to advanced violinists. With the realization of an ever-changing music industry, Alex teaches her private students through a unique combination of the Suzuki Method and learning through improvisation. Alex focuses her teaching on healthy playing technique, music theory, and ear training using fun activities. She tailors each lesson based on her student’s goals and passions. She encourages her students to explore all genres of music and how to utilize modern music technology.
