Began playing guitar at the age of 10 and for the following 7 years took private lessons with renowned music teachers in Rio de Janeiro/Brazil. At the age of 18, moved to Boston, to study at the prestigious Berklee College of Music under the tutelage of a number of great musicians. Worked professionally while studying at Berklee as a session player and played at Guitar Night – a concert sponsored for its top 5 guitar players of the year. Shortly after moving back to Brazil, worked teaching guitar privately and at 2 different locations of music school Centro Musical Antonio Adolfo, composing/recording jingles and soundtracks for Radio/TV/Film and began playing gigs with local artists. A couple years later, started touring with major artists – many of them Grammy Nominees and/or Grammy Award winners, all over Brazil and South America. In late 2011, moved to New York City and soon began performing and recording with local artists and world renowned musicians in top-notch studios. In 2014, toured the US – on the Guitar Gods tour which featured artists such as Yngwie Malmsteen, Bumblefoot (ex-Guns ‘N Roses, Sons of Apollo) and Gary Hoey. A few years later, started teaching music in the USA to private students and later at a School of Rock music school in New York. I currently play shows with artist Taylor Dayne. My debut album LET IT OUT was in the 1st round of voting (out of 2) for the 2022 Latin Grammy Awards in the Record of the Year category. I've always been exposed to various music styles and was fortunate to learn how to play them from a young age. I am well versed and able to teach in detail many different genres of music.
