I am a new teacher with experience in both jazz and classical music, I played in the panther creek jazz band, as well as the panther creek marching band, both of which take a lot of hard work and require a high amount of dedication to get into. I've been the worst, but with practice I became the best, I know what it takes to improve your instrumental skills, and as well I understand the struggles many students may have and I will strive to fix them. I can help with improvisation practice for intermediate classes, as well as developing range, and for beginners I can teach the fundamentals that build the coming of a great musician

Hello, my name is Alex joy. I grew up in Raleigh, NC, and I have always been into music. I've been playing trumpet since 6th grade and I have over 4+ years of experience on trumpet. My favorite music is jazz music, I love working on improvisation and anything that gives the musician their own space or "artboard" to play on. My main inspiration for playing trumpet came from both Maynard Ferguson and Wayne bergeron. I have experience in both marching band and jazz band in panther creek high school. I love seeing improvements as I know how it feels to go from being the worst to being the best

Alex is a really good trumpet player. I hear him play in school every day. He has a high range and he is really good at improvisation. He also gives very helpful advice.
